California egg prices 79 cents higher for Jumbo and Extra Large, 75 cents higher for Large, 35 cents higher for Medium and Small. Regional prices are 3.5 to 12 cents higher for Extra Large, 2.5 to 9 cents higher for Large, and 2 to 8.5 cents lower for Medium. The undertone is steady to mostly firm. Retail demand is moderate to at times fairly good while distributive demand is light to moderate. Offerings are light. Supplies are light to moderate. Market activity is moderate to at times active. Breaking stock offerings are light to very light for the light demand. Spent fowl supplies are moderate; processing schedules are normal.
